There is an Andy Griffith episode in which Gomer is joining the Marine Corps. In one scene, he does something particularly stupid (sorry, Gracen--we usually opt for "silly") and the Sargent gives him a bucket to put on his head to think about what he has done. Andy, of course, wants to know why Gomer is sitting in the barracks with a bucket on his head. After explaining the situation, Gomer tells Andy that it is really good for thinking so, "Go ahead...take a think under there." Hence the title of this post.
