After our field trip in Vicksburg, we drove on to my parents' house and had a nice weekend visit. It was so nice to see everyone!
Gracen and Jordyn spent lots of time doing all sorts of fun things...
like visiting with Nanny and Granddaddy. Granddaddy has had some health problems lately and it was so good to see him feeling a bit better!
They spent time exploring on the four wheeler!
One of the highlights of the trip was meeting Jordyn's new puppy, Missy.
As we were getting ready to leave Saturday afternoon, Gracen began trying to hurry us to the car (a VERY unusual occurrence)!A close inspection of the back seat revealed a very lumpy blanket under which we found Jordyn and Missy. The girls had hatched a plan of trying to smuggle Jordyn and Missy back home with us. Both of them were very disappointed that their plan didn't work!
Gracen said, "We were going to reveal Jordyn and Missy when we had gone too far to turn around and take them back home."
Somehow, I think the furthest we would have gotten before hearing one (or most likely all 3 of them) would have been the end of my parents' drive!

Nice plan!Would have been fun if you knew about it and could have arranged to let it happen. They would have thought they were so smart! Love that they have each other to love so much!
