Pumpkin Patch

Because my leg has been giving me some problems over the last few weeks, we weren't able to make a trip to a large pumpkin patch this year.

My time in my leg and my steps have been carefully doled out--and I am more than ready just to be able to go. Hopefully, that situation will be fixed tomorrow when I see my "leg man"!

We went to a local church that had a pumpkin patch on their front lawn. We didn't stay very long but had a fun time and got some nice pumpkins.

Gracen chose a really big pumpkin this year. We plan to carve it soon--she is still deciding on the kind of face it will have!

The bottom picture makes me think of my Grandma. I remember her watching Peanuts holiday specials. Somehow, now, watching a Peanuts special helps to "bring in" the season!
