Happy New Year!!!!
Our new year will be rung in rather quietly.
I have been fighting a cold (and losing!) all week and am STILL trying to let the
place on my leg heal so that I can get back in my artificial leg.
We are going to toast 2009 away with sparkling cider and hope that 2010 brings
fewer crutch days!
Gracen is extremely happy about the cider, the possibility of a late bedtime and the beginning of a new year.
As a family, we look forward to a new year--already we know of several fairly major changes 2010 will bring.
Our hope is that we meet them in a way that is glorifying to God.
(I hope to post some resolutions and a 2010 book list when there is actually enough
oxygen going to my brain to support clear thinking!)

This is truly inspiring. Barbara Kingsolver will be presenting writers' workshops at the San Miguel Writers Conference in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico February 19-23 2010. I just signed up. It looks like a rare opportunity to meet her. Are you going?
