This week's challenge was probably the hardest one so far for me--signs! I usually try to challenge myself to think creatively and to create art. I may have gotten some creative points but I don't think I hit the art very well this week!!
Here goes...
Some of my favorite signs:
The front of my car--a testament to my "home" state!
The sign that lets me know I'm almost home!
The sign most often around my neck or in my hand or on my desk--I think I would have withdrawals if it wasn't close by!

This is NOT one of my favorite signs!
The sign of a happy kid--computer, iPod, dogs.

Another sign of a happy kid...fresh, homemade cinnamon raisin bread. (Love the new bread book--Artisan Bread in Five Minutes A Day. The Healthy Bread in Five Minutes is on my wish list!)
These are signs of a really good book. My "system" is to dog ear the bottom corner of a page that has a quote that I want to remember then I write that quote into my journal.
And, finally, the sign that our grass needs cutting! White clover flowers are about to take over.

$2.73?!?!?! No fair! We are at $3.00!!!!
I have often thought about taking gas-price photos for a remembrance book for my children. I remember when gas was $1.19 but I can't believe it! ;-)
These are all really creative - super cool! I love the gas station shot... and you're lucky to have gas that cheap! Around here it's up to around $3.25! :-P
Yum, that bread looks so good.
The gas sign isn't my favorite either. ;) Especially now that gas prices are creeping back up again.
the gas station photo is definitely the best!
I love your artistic take on "signs." These are great, Dana!
