No deep thoughts here today--just a bunch of random, strung together tidbits that probably don't make any real sense!

It seems that summer is the time for things to fall apart for us. The dryer quit the other day. Don't know if it is worth trying to fix or better to find a good one on the scratch and dent aisle. If it weren't for the squirrels and the birds in the backyard, I would have a clothes line in a heartbeat!

I found a new recipe blog and, oh my goodness, so many good things here! Among our favorites so far are the chicken enchiladas (which do take a bit of time but are so worth it) and the chicken tequila burgers.

Let's see...Mother's Day. I had a great day with the "fam". My sweet daughter, knowing her mother's affinity for pretty notebooks and organizational things gave me this and these. Many, many lists in my future!

We are embarking on the last stretch of homeschooling, at least for now. I have learned never say never. I am thinking of cleaning out shelves and having a sale--so many books! It is an exciting time but also a bit sad as well. I know that Gracen will love going to school and I am hoping to be involved as well.

There have been some heart struggles lately--just things that I am not quite sure how to resolve or even what my role should be. I've been pondering Ecclesiastes 5:1-2 and 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 for different reasons throughout this. Still no answers on exactly what, if anything, to do but there is much comfort.
