There are things in life that make you smile...
--knowing that with a look or a touch Jeff and I can know exactly what the other is thinking.
--good ice cream (purchased with a coupon!) with 2 spoons.
--flowers that bloom regardless of my "care".

There are things in life that make you laugh right out loud...
--the time "boogies" were strategically placed on someone's wall; a collection, if you will. (This person was 2 at the time!)
--most anytime my sister is around!
--memories of my niece saying "doot and dinger". She couldn't say an "f". Hearing her sing Little Bunny Foo Foo was hysterical!

There are things in life that family legends are made of...
--like the smoking Volvo station wagon that very nearly caused a divorce, well, not really but...
--yes, sweet baby, we really did find out about your birth and your name on Facebook.
--the time Grandma served oyster dressing for Thanksgiving without telling anyone about said oysters.

There are things in life that make you sigh that sigh of contentment...
--"I love nou" from a little girl who couldn't say "you" just yet.
--good books, good wine, and good friends.
--my own little piece of earth--and there are actually things (besides weeds) growing!

Then there are those things in life that are treasured...
