From the Yard

This is the lantana that blooms in our front yard each year.

It loves heat and humidity--which is why it does so well in the yard each summer.

And yet,

it is September 21, the day before autumn "officially" arrives.

Usually, the lantana is no longer blooming as cooler mornings have taken over.

However, the lantana bloometh like there is no tomorrow!

Why???

Because it is hot and humid.

Still.



At least the butterflies love it.
