The school that Gracen attends entered a trunk or treat competition at a local car dealership.
They decorated the trunk using The Secret Garden theme. The older class had just finished reading the book and they had seen a local musical production.
Several of the students took turns inside the garden to hand out candy and encourage the passers by to vote for the school!
They came in second place. Not bad--gift cards to a sporting goods store!
Our church held its annual Reformation Celebration on Sunday evening. Gracen dressed as a 1920's flapper girl.
I heard that she even did the Charleston but, naturally, not for the camera!
All in all it was a great weekend.
The candy detox now begins!!
