Foto Friday--On Monday!

I'm so late with this Foto Friday! The theme this week was CLOUDS, which obviously I didn't capture. Our clouds have either been scarce, covered by the hazy heat film for which the South is known, or very thick--to trick you into thinking there is going to a good rain but you get nothin' but thunder!

I did get this picture one afternoon after a few raindrops fell. It was so nice--we could use so much more though!

It seems that this summer has thrown me and my blogging schedule for a loop. I am hoping to get better with that soon. I find that I miss writing a lot.

But first, I have to head back to the doctor's office in painfully early hours tomorrow so that they can take a couple of stitches out that got left in my nose! I'm not looking forward to this. I am hoping that they will say that things are healing well in spite of this.

I'm so ready to be done with bandages and to be able breathe well again!

I hope that you all have a wonderful 4th of July! It's been a pretty great day around here so far--burgers and ice cream have been enjoyed, a mean Monopoly game is going on in the back, and I'm fairly certain that someone (who probably should have been doing something much more constructive) snuck in a nap...it was wonderful!
