This picture was taken at Nanny's 80th birthday celebration.
Granddaddy was diagnosed with terminal cancer a bit ago. He has been in more pain and a little more confused lately. It is the disease, well, acting like a disease. Knowing why doesn't make it easier. It does enable everyone to know better how to help him though.
Nanny found out yesterday that she has a major problem with her heart. Further testing is necessary to know exactly what is going on.
I would appreciate prayers for our family. Prayers for my grandparents' comfort and peace. Prayers for my parents and sister who deal with the everyday. Prayers for those of us living long distance as we process, figure how to best help, and try to encourage when we can't physically be there.
