A List For The Week

It's a listy kind of day.

Some of my favorite things this week so far...

1. Swagbucks. LOVE this. You earn swagbucks by searching the web or doing your online shopping through their site. My favorite thing? For 450 swagbucks, you can get a $5 Amazon gift card. 2. Spring Break! Ours is this week. It's nice to have a fairly empty calendar.

3. Netflix. We've been watching The Cosby Show (it's on instant view right now). Gracen has really been enjoying it.

4. Texts. I didn't much think I would ever like texts but getting them from my girl while she's been on choir tour has been a hoot! She texts what she is doing. I've gotten a couple that said, “Am having lunch.” I am discovering the benefits of texting.

5. Lists. I simply don't know if I could exist without a list. They are necessary.

6. Birds at the feeders. Slowly but surely there are more and more—so much fun to watch.

7. Cleaned out flower beds which lead to #8

8. Trips to the nursery. The only problem? Choosing a few plants from the many I like!
   

9. Summer plans. Gracen will be taking a short cake decorating class at a local bakery and she's really wanting to find a couple of families that may need a “mother's helper” for a few hours each week. She's hoping for a little experience so that she can begin babysitting and for a little spending money. She's saving for a guinea pig. That's so not on my favorite thing list. I'm hoping to convince her that there is a better way to spend the money she's saving.

10. The prospect of maybe, possibly, hopefully getting my desk cleared off enough to actually see the top of it.

    But if the weather stays nice, I can almost guarantee that it won't happen :)!
