We are expecting some severe storms this evening and tonight.I was trying to help Gracen not be quite so afraid of the storms. We watched some footage on television so that she could learn what a tornado actually looked like. I was hoping that the more educated she was--and the more she knew what to do--the less fearful she would be.
She was concerned about her things. I told her that if she wanted to, she could put some of her favorite and most special things in a bag to take into the closet should we have to go in there.

mer- this is Jeff, Dana's husband.
We are safe. We are not far (couple of miles) from one of the hardest hit areas.It is amazing, heart-rending and awesome all at the same time. I'm sure she will post more on this later. Thanks for checking!
