Happy Day!

I'm always so happy to find something growing in my yard--mostly because it is a surprise. I don't really work on the yard. It's always on my list but it is also always the thing that gets overlooked.
This is growing in the front (think it is some sort of lily but will leave that determination to those who know better, like my green thumbed cousin Ashley!)
My hydrangea bush has been just great this year. This is the second vase full of blooms we've enjoyed.

And, I was so excited to see these little guys at the feeders! I grabbed my camera and started shooting through the window. They aren't the best technical pictures in the world but I was so excited that I got anything besides a blur!


The last one is one I "doctored" a good bit. At first I wasn't sure that I liked it but it has kind of grown on me. What do you think?


And as I sit here loving the pictures of all things spring, my girl is singing Christmas songs! :)
