For My Parents

Today my parents are celebrating their 44th wedding anniversary!

Mom was 17 when they married--Dad was 21 (or was about to be). In many ways, they grew up together.

The best thing, to me, about seeing them together is knowing that they each still make the other laugh and smile.
In their 44 years together, they have raised 2 daughters.

They have built 2 houses together and made them each homes.

They have been (and continue to be) a vital part of their church and community.

They are loving and enjoying their granddaughters.

In short, they have lived, loved, laughed, cried, fought, worried, and above all prayed together.

I am so thankful for their example.
I love you both!! Happy Anniversary!

Happy Anniversary to your parents!

And I loved reading your last post on your homeschooling curriculum for the year. I have heard so many good things about Apologia science and Tapestry of Grace.

I am excited about your new leg news!
