Book Review

**Free Book is a book by Brian Tome that I read and am reviewing as part of Thomas Nelson's Book Sneeze program. I couldn't pass up free books!

Free Book by Brian Tome is arguably one of the most dangerous books I have ever read. Many of the other reviews I read took offense with some of the curse words that he used and/or implied. That is the least of this book's problems.

At it's best, this book skates along the edge of Biblical truth. At it's worst, it is heretical. There is simply no way to intelligently discuss freedom in Christ while trying to take Christ out of the equation as Mr. Tome does in this book. Continually he urges the believer to claim something, believe that enough, and take certain steps in order to overcome "strongholds" in their lives. If I have to do all of that, where does that leave the work of Christ?!

The most dangerous thing about this book is that there are some grains of truth but, overall, the grains of truth are overshadowed by poor theology and even poorer use of Scripture as proof text.
